Impressed from drop off to pick up. My 1997 Dodge 2500 4x4 needed a clutch desperately. So happy I took it here. They explained time frame, cost, parts to be sourced, they delivered on all! Friendly and honest, which is hard to find nowadays. They have a lot of absolutely amazing vintage 4x4’s they are working on and you can tell attention to detail is a priority. Lots of pride in what they do, which I find refreshing. Wouldn’t take my beloved truck anywhere else now. Thanks again to their team, job well done!!

World Famous 4x4 is THE shop to go to when you love your vehicle and you need a repair, upgrade, or even complex maintenance that needs to be done right. The team behind the front counter and in the shop are impeccable. The super friendly staff was helpful on the phone and in person and treated my 2025 Jeep Mojave like it was the most important vehicle on earth. The suspension work they performed not only allow me to fit bigger tires that I always wanted, but their technicians also noted some rear brake problems that I had felt For months, but my regular mechanic couldn’t figure out. This is the place to take your 4 x 4, Hot Rod, or specialty vehicle, certainly not the cheapest option In Los Angeles, but you’ll be grateful for the work they do.

Where to begin is the question. First and foremost the way Henrick the owner speaks to people is horrendous and shows a lack of professionalism. He cursed at me multiple times which can sometimes also be the sign of a good mechanic lol! This was not the case he had my truck for 8 months for what should have been a 3 month engine swap. He never communicated with me I always had to reach out to him and never offered very clear updates and lied several times about the progress. After it was all said and done I felt the overall price was fair. However that price only reflected the quality of their work. I took my vehicle back to his shop three more times in three months all pertaining to separate issues. He fixed it 2/3 times. I now have my other issue being corrected by another shop, because Henrick got impatient with me and thought he was smarter than to do his due diligence. Customers Beware

Called World Famous 4x4 to set up an appointment to have Metalcloak Baller joints, which I had previously purchased from Metalcloak directly, installed. They were very helpful on the phone and set my appointment in a short time frame. Once I showed up at the shop, I was immediately greeted in the parking lot by Henrik, the owner, who was very personable and outgoing. He had my Jeep in the shop without delay and his team got to work. The had the install done in a reasonable time and even took me into the shop to point out other potential issues. They didn’t try to upsell the job at hand but were honest and showed that they go above and beyond just “the job”. His install rate was not inflated and and well worth the money. All in all, I had a great experience with Henrik and his team at World Famous and will return without hesitation!
